Phantom ended Sui support on 24 September 2026. The best Phantom wallet alternatives for Sui and MultiversX: Slush, Nightly, Trust Wallet, xPortal and Ledger.

The best Phantom wallet alternative for Sui is Slush, the wallet Phantom itself recommends, with Nightly, Trust Wallet and OKX Wallet as multi-chain options. For MultiversX, which Phantom never supported, use xPortal or the MultiversX web wallet, and pair either with a Ledger for larger balances. Phantom ended Sui support on 24 September 2026, so if you used it for SUI you now need another wallet.
Phantom started as a Solana wallet and later added other chains. It announced on 24 August 2026 that it would drop Sui. After 24 September it stopped showing Sui balances and stopped signing Sui transactions. It now focuses on Solana, Ethereum and Bitcoin (crypto.news). It was Phantom's second network exit in a few months, after it dropped Monad in July (Bankless). JewelSwap does not operate on Solana. It runs on Sui, MultiversX and Radix, which is why this guide covers wallets for those chains.
| Alternative | Type | Best for | Chains | Fees | Custody |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Slush | Self-custody wallet | Most Sui users; direct Phantom replacement | Sui | Free wallet; Sui gas | Self-custody |
| Nightly | Self-custody wallet | Multi-chain users who want strong Sui support | Sui plus 10+ other chains | Free wallet; network gas | Self-custody |
| Trust Wallet | Self-custody wallet | Holding SUI and EGLD in one app | Many chains, including Sui and MultiversX | Free wallet; network gas (in-app swaps may add a fee) | Self-custody |
| OKX Wallet | Self-custody wallet | Existing OKX Wallet users | Many chains, including Sui | Free wallet; network gas | Self-custody |
| xPortal / MultiversX Wallet | Self-custody wallet | MultiversX | MultiversX | Free wallet; EGLD gas | Self-custody |
| Ledger | Hardware wallet | Larger balances on Sui, MultiversX or Radix | Wide, paired with a software wallet | One-off device cost | Self-custody (cold) |
| Radix Wallet | Self-custody wallet | Radix | Radix | Free wallet; XRD fees | Self-custody |
The main reason is simple: Phantom no longer works with Sui. According to its announcement, after 24 September 2026 you can't view, send, swap or connect Sui assets in Phantom. Your assets are not lost. They stay on the Sui blockchain, under the control of whoever holds the recovery phrase.
Other reasons people move on:
Slush is the wallet from Mysten Labs, the company behind Sui. It replaced the original Sui Wallet in April 2025. Phantom's own migration guidance points users to it. It runs as a web app, a Chrome extension and on iOS and Android, supports Ledger, and offers sign-in with Google or Apple as well as a classic recovery phrase. You can stake SUI inside the app.
Moving from Phantom: in Phantom, open Settings and reveal your Secret Recovery Phrase somewhere private. Install Slush from slush.app and choose to import a wallet. Phantom says your existing Sui addresses and balances should appear. Our guide to Slush wallet covers setup in more detail.
Suits: almost anyone who mainly uses Sui.
Nightly is a multi-chain wallet that lists more than 11 networks, including Sui. It has extensions for every major browser, including Safari and Firefox, plus mobile apps. For Sui it supports Ledger and social sign-in, and it simulates transactions to flag malicious contracts before you sign.
Drawbacks: it doesn't list MultiversX or Radix.
Suits: people who liked Phantom's multi-chain approach and want one wallet that still covers Sui.
Trust Wallet supports both Sui and MultiversX on iOS, Android and as a browser extension, so you can hold SUI and EGLD side by side (Trust Wallet).
Drawbacks: in December 2025, a malicious version (2.68) of its browser extension leaked recovery phrases. Users lost about $7 million, and Trust Wallet committed to reimbursing verified losses (The Block). For MultiversX DeFi apps, xPortal or the MultiversX extension usually connects more smoothly.
Suits: holders who want one app across several chains, including both of JewelSwap's main chains.
OKX Wallet is a self-custody wallet from the OKX exchange group, available as a browser extension and mobile app. Its Sui support covers sending, receiving, swaps and connecting to Sui dApps.
Drawbacks: when we checked, it didn't list Sui staking or hardware wallet support for Sui.
Suits: people who already use OKX Wallet on other chains.
xPortal is MultiversX's own mobile wallet, the successor to Maiar. You can buy, swap and stake EGLD and connect to MultiversX dApps. It can also act as an on-chain "Guardian", a second signer that co-signs your transactions. Activating or changing a guardian involves a 20-day wait, so a thief can't quickly switch it off (MultiversX docs).
On desktop, the MultiversX web wallet and its browser extension do the same job, and the web wallet supports logging in with a Ledger (MultiversX docs).
Moving from Phantom: there's nothing to import, because Phantom never held MultiversX assets. Create a new wallet in xPortal and write down its own recovery phrase. Then buy EGLD on an exchange and withdraw it to your new address on the MultiversX network. Our EGLD staking guide picks up from there.
Suits: anyone using MultiversX.
A Ledger keeps private keys on a separate device. Sui added Ledger Live support in April 2025, and you can pair a Ledger with Slush or Nightly for Sui DeFi. On MultiversX it works through the web wallet. On Radix it works through the Radix Wallet and its Connector extension.
Drawbacks: device cost and a little more friction per transaction. It won't save you if you approve a malicious transaction yourself.
Suits: anyone with a balance they couldn't afford to lose.
The Radix Wallet is a mobile app that connects to desktop sites through the Radix Connector browser extension. The Connector also handles Ledger. The Radix Foundation moved into maintenance mode from May 2026 and is handing services to the community. It has pre-funded the wallet's key infrastructure through the end of December 2026 (Radix Foundation). The wallet is open source and works today, but keep an eye on the handover.
Suits: anyone staking or using DeFi on Radix.
Phantom was already a self-custody wallet, so switching keeps you in control of your keys. Use the move to tighten your setup. Store the recovery phrase offline, and consider a separate phrase for each chain's wallet. Ignore anyone who offers to "migrate" your assets. Phantom has said it will never contact you about the change, and unsolicited offers are scams (see fake wallet scams and wallet drainers). Our self-custody guide, the best self-custody wallets and CeFi vs DeFi cover the basics. For Sui specifically, see the best Sui wallets.
Once your new wallet is set up, JewelSwap is a non-custodial DeFi protocol you can connect to on Sui, MultiversX and Radix:
JewelSwap is not an exchange and has no fiat on-ramp. You buy SUI, EGLD or XRD on an exchange first. DeFi carries smart-contract and market risk, so start small. New to these chains? Read what is Sui and what is MultiversX.
No. Phantom announced on 24 August 2026 that it would end Sui support, and it stopped showing Sui balances and signing Sui transactions after 24 September 2026. Your SUI is still on the Sui blockchain. Import your recovery phrase into a Sui wallet such as Slush to access it.
Slush, Mysten Labs' own wallet and the one Phantom recommends. It runs on web, as a Chrome extension and on iOS and Android, and supports Ledger. Nightly is a good multi-chain alternative.
xPortal on mobile, or the MultiversX web wallet and browser extension on desktop. Trust Wallet also supports EGLD. For larger balances, use a Ledger with the MultiversX web wallet.
No. JewelSwap operates only on Sui, MultiversX and Radix. To use it, you need a wallet for one of those chains, such as Slush for Sui, xPortal for MultiversX or the Radix Wallet for Radix.
