What is Slush Wallet?

Slush is a Sui wallet built and maintained by Mysten Labs. On 24 April 2025, Mysten merged its two wallets, the Sui Wallet browser extension and the Stashed web wallet, into a single product called Slush. The change arrived as a normal update: Mysten said accounts, seed phrases and wallet addresses all stayed exactly the same, just with a new look.

The aim was to combine Sui Wallet's familiar interface with Stashed's newer features, such as sign-in with a social account and sending crypto by link. As the wallet from Sui's own core developer, Slush is often the first wallet new Sui users install, and it appears at the top of most Sui wallet lists, including our guide to the best Sui wallets in 2026.

How Slush Wallet works

  1. Create or import an account. You can sign in with a Google, Twitch or Facebook account using zkLogin, a Sui feature that derives a wallet address from your social login without a seed phrase. Or you can create a classic account protected by a recovery phrase. One wallet can hold both kinds of account.
  2. Hold and move assets. Slush shows your SUI, other Sui tokens and NFTs, and lets you send them to an address or, with Slush Links, to anyone through a shareable link or QR code.
  3. Connect to apps. Sui apps use a shared wallet standard, so a "Connect wallet" button on any Sui app will list Slush. You approve each transaction in the wallet before it is signed.
  4. Add a hardware wallet if you want. Slush's help centre explains how to pair a Ledger device with the Chrome extension, so the private key never leaves the hardware.

Key features

  • zkLogin sign-in: start with a social account instead of writing down a seed phrase.
  • Slush Links: send tokens or NFTs through a link, even to someone who does not have a wallet yet.
  • Staking and swaps: stake SUI with validators and swap tokens inside the wallet.
  • Earn section: Slush lists Sui DeFi protocols where you can put assets to work; a Slush Card waitlist was also live on its site in October 2026.
  • Every platform: Chrome extension, iOS and Android apps, and a web wallet that needs no download.
  • Ledger support: pair a Ledger with the extension for hardware-backed signing.

Risks and track record

  • Phishing and fake apps: Mysten Labs warns users to avoid unfamiliar download links or apps claiming to be Slush. Only install from slush.app or the official app stores. Our guide to fake wallet scams shows the common tricks.
  • Malicious approvals: the wallet signs whatever you approve. A drainer site can still take funds if you sign a harmful transaction, as explained in our piece on wallet drainers and approval phishing.
  • Recovery depends on you: a recovery-phrase account is only as safe as the phrase itself, and a zkLogin account depends on keeping access to the linked social login.
  • Hot-wallet exposure: any software wallet on an internet-connected device carries more risk than a hardware wallet for large balances. We found no exploit of Slush itself as of October 2026.

Is Slush Wallet integrated with JewelSwap?

Compatible. Slush is a standard Sui wallet, so it can connect to the JewelSwap Sui app like any wallet that supports the Sui wallet standard. There is no special partnership between JewelSwap and Slush.

Once connected, you can use JewelSwap's Sui products from Slush, including JWLSUI liquid staking and auto-compounded farms on Cetus and Turbos pools. JewelSwap on Sui gives the full overview. Before connecting any wallet to a DeFi app, read our self-custody guide.

Slush Wallet vs other Sui wallets

Slush is the default choice for many Sui users because it comes from Mysten Labs and supports zkLogin and Slush Links. Multi-chain wallets such as Nightly and OKX Wallet suit people who also hold assets on other networks, while a Ledger, used through Slush or another compatible wallet, is the safer place for long-term savings. Our Sui wallet comparison and best self-custody wallets of 2026 cover the trade-offs.

Yes. On 24 April 2025, Mysten Labs merged Sui Wallet and Stashed into Slush. Existing accounts, seed phrases and addresses stayed the same, and the change arrived as a normal update.

Is Slush Wallet safe?

Slush is built by Mysten Labs, supports Ledger hardware wallets, and we found no exploit of the wallet itself as of October 2026. The main risks are fake Slush apps, phishing sites and signing malicious transactions, so protect your recovery phrase and only install from official sources.
