What Is Turbos Finance? Sui CLMM DEX and JewelSwap Farms

Turbos Finance is a concentrated-liquidity decentralised exchange (CLMM DEX) on the Sui blockchain, backed by Jump Crypto and Mysten Labs, with its own TURBOS token and the Turbos.fun memecoin launchpad. It is one of the oldest DEXs on Sui, and JewelSwap runs auto-compounded yield farms on two of its pools.

What is Turbos Finance?

Turbos describes itself as a non-custodial DEX that has been building on Sui since June 2022, well before the network's mainnet. It ran a public testnet of its concentrated-liquidity DEX ahead of Sui's mainnet launch on 3 May 2023, and DefiLlama has tracked it on mainnet since that month. The project lists Jump Crypto and Mysten Labs, the company that created Sui, as backers.

Turbos became known as a home for new Sui tokens. Its launchpad, first called TurboStar and now Turbos.fun, lets projects launch a token on a bonding curve and graduate to a Turbos pool once enough SUI has been raised. That focus on fresh listings sets it apart from DEXs aimed mainly at blue-chip pairs.

By TVL, Turbos ranked fourth among Sui DEXs on DefiLlama in October 2026, behind Cetus, DeepBook and Bluefin Spot.

How Turbos Finance works

  1. Liquidity providers pick a range. Instead of spreading liquidity across every possible price, LPs deposit two tokens into a price range they choose. This is the concentrated-liquidity model explained in our CLMM guide.
  2. Traders swap against active liquidity. Swaps use whatever liquidity sits around the current price, and smart routing can split a trade across pools for a better rate.
  3. LPs earn fees while in range. When the price is inside an LP's range, the position earns a share of trading fees and any pool incentives. When it drifts outside, the position stops earning and sits fully in one token.
  4. New tokens graduate from Turbos.fun. Launchpad tokens trade on a bonding curve first, and once they hit their target their liquidity moves to a Turbos pool, where initial liquidity is locked.

Key features

  • Concentrated liquidity: LPs can earn more fees per dollar than in a classic AMM, at the cost of active range management.
  • Smart routing: trades can be routed across pools to reduce price impact.
  • Turbos.fun launchpad: a bonding-curve launchpad for new Sui tokens, with locked initial liquidity to reduce rug-pull risk.
  • Early-stage listings: many newer Sui tokens find their first DEX liquidity on Turbos.
  • Composability: other protocols, including JewelSwap, can build managed strategies on top of Turbos pools.

TURBOS token

TURBOS has a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens, of which about 6.62 billion were circulating according to CoinGecko in October 2026. It is the native token of the Turbos ecosystem. Its market capitalisation was under $1 million at that time, so it is a small, thinly traded asset and prices can move sharply.

Risks and track record

  • Smart-contract risk: after the May 2025 Cetus exploit, security firm Verichains reported that Turbos had previously contained the same math flaw but had already fixed and upgraded its contracts. Turbos said it was not affected because the relevant functions were never called, and we found no exploit of Turbos itself. Turbos also runs a bug bounty on HackenProof, with critical rewards of up to $15,000.
  • Impermanent loss and range risk: concentrated positions magnify both fees and impermanent loss, and out-of-range positions earn nothing.
  • Liquidity risk: DefiLlama shows TVL around $4.1 million in October 2026, down from a peak near $30.8 million in November 2024. Thinner pools mean more slippage.
  • Launchpad risk: tokens launched through Turbos.fun are early and speculative. Locked liquidity does not protect against a token losing most of its value.

Is Turbos Finance integrated with JewelSwap?

Yes. JewelSwap runs auto-compounded concentrated-liquidity yield farms on two Turbos pools: NS-SUI and SUI-USDC.

When you deposit, JewelSwap manages the CLMM price range for you and compounds trading fees and rewards back into the position, so you do not need to rebalance or claim manually. A performance fee of 30% of harvested rewards goes to the JewelSwap treasury. You can find the farms in the JewelSwap Sui app.

Our guide to auto-compounding explains why reinvesting rewards matters, and JewelSwap on Sui covers the rest of the Sui product set, including farms on Cetus. Managed ranges reduce the work, not the market risk: impermanent loss still applies.

Turbos Finance vs other Sui apps

Cetus is the largest CLMM DEX on Sui and the deeper venue for major pairs. Momentum uses a similar CLMM design with ve(3,3) token incentives, while Bluefin pairs a spot CLMM with perpetual futures. Turbos is smaller than all three by TVL but stands out for its launchpad and early-stage listings.

Frequently asked questions

Is Turbos Finance safe?

We found no exploit of Turbos itself as of October 2026, and Verichains reported that a Cetus-style math flaw in its code had already been fixed. LPs still face smart-contract risk, impermanent loss and thin liquidity on smaller pools.

What is the TURBOS token?

TURBOS is the native token of the Turbos ecosystem, with a maximum supply of 10 billion and about 6.62 billion circulating in October 2026, according to CoinGecko.

Is Turbos Finance integrated with JewelSwap?

Yes. JewelSwap runs auto-compounded concentrated-liquidity farms on the Turbos NS-SUI and SUI-USDC pools, manages the price range and compounds rewards, and takes a 30% performance fee on harvested rewards.
