Yes, US Robinhood Crypto customers can buy SUI, but Robinhood does not offer SUI staking. What it does offer, GSUI, and how to stake SUI yourself.

Yes, you can buy SUI on Robinhood if you are a Robinhood Crypto customer in an eligible US state. The Sui Foundation announced on 12 August 2025 that SUI was available to trade for US customers on Robinhood "starting today", and Robinhood's SUI page still offers it.
What you cannot do on Robinhood is stake SUI. As of 20 October 2026, SUI is not among the assets Robinhood lets US customers stake. This guide covers what Robinhood does offer for SUI, the Grayscale Sui Staking ETF (GSUI) that trades in a Robinhood brokerage account, and how to stake SUI yourself if you want the rewards.
SUI trades in Robinhood Crypto alongside other coins, around the clock. A few practical points from Robinhood's own pages:
The withdrawal option matters most. Once SUI is in a Sui wallet you control, you can stake it on-chain, which Robinhood does not offer.
No. Robinhood announced US crypto staking in June 2025, starting with Ethereum. Its current staking support page lists a short set of assets, including Ethereum (ETH) and Cardano (ADA), and SUI is not on it.
For the coins it does support, Robinhood's terms are worth knowing if you compare options:
If SUI staking is added later, we expect it to appear on that support page first. Until then, staking SUI means moving it off Robinhood or buying a fund that stakes for you.
Robinhood also lists the Grayscale Sui Staking ETF (GSUI) as a stock-like ETF. GSUI began trading on NYSE Arca on 18 February 2026, according to the Sui Foundation, and it was previously the Grayscale Sui Trust, per SEC filings.
The fund holds SUI and stakes part of it, with staking rewards reflected in its net asset value rather than paid to you. Robinhood's GSUI page shows an expense ratio of 0.35% as of 20 October 2026. You hold fund shares, not SUI, so you cannot withdraw coins or use them on-chain. Two other spot SUI funds, Canary's SUIS and 21shares' TSUI, trade on Nasdaq; we compare all of them in our Sui ETF guide.
| Option | What you hold | Staking rewards | Who holds the keys |
|---|---|---|---|
| SUI in Robinhood Crypto | SUI, held by Robinhood | None (SUI staking not offered) | Robinhood |
| GSUI in a brokerage account | ETF shares | Reflected in the fund's NAV, after fees | The fund's custodian |
| Native staking from your own wallet | SUI staked with a validator | Paid by the network, minus validator commission | You |
| Liquid staking (for example JWLSUI) | A liquid staking token | Accrue to the token, minus protocol fees | You, plus smart-contract risk |
Native SUI staking paid roughly 1.2% to 1.5% a year in the 30 days to 27 September 2026, depending on the validator, according to the on-chain measurements in that guide. Rates are variable and change every epoch.
On JewelSwap, you can mint JWLSUI 1:1 against SUI at sui.jewelswap.io/stake/sui, then stake it for SJWLSUI, which appreciates as rewards accrue. Redeeming back to SUI through the protocol takes 10 days, and the claim is a transferable NFT. For how it compares with haSUI, vSUI and afSUI, see our Sui liquid staking comparison. Liquid staking adds smart-contract risk on top of validator risk, so read the risks before you deposit.

Yes. Robinhood supports SUI withdrawals to Sui addresses that start with 0x followed by 64 hex characters. Send a small test amount first and make sure you use the Sui network.
GSUI is the Grayscale Sui Staking ETF, listed on NYSE Arca since 18 February 2026. It holds SUI, stakes part of it and reflects staking rewards in its NAV. Robinhood shows a 0.35% expense ratio.
Withdraw it to your own Sui wallet and either delegate to a validator or use a liquid staking token such as JWLSUI. Each route has different risks, so compare them before you choose.
