Morpho Alternatives on Sui: Curated Vaults Compared

Morpho has no Sui deployment. Compare Ember, NAVI Prime, Suilend isolated markets, Haedal, Volo, Upshift and MEV Capital by curator, custody and TVL.

Morpho Alternatives on Sui: Curated Vaults Compared

Morpho does not run on Sui, so the closest Morpho alternatives on Sui are Ember's curated vaults, NAVI Prime's curator-led isolated markets, Suilend's isolated markets and a handful of small curator and allocator vaults from Volo, Haedal, MEV Capital and Upshift. None of them copies Morpho's design exactly. This guide shows which half of Morpho each one replaces, how big each is on Sui according to DefiLlama on 31 October 2026, and what you give up compared with Morpho on Ethereum or Base.

What Morpho does, and why Sui has no direct copy

Morpho has two layers. The bottom layer is a set of isolated lending markets (Morpho calls them variable rate markets; most people still say Morpho Blue). Each market pairs one collateral asset with one loan asset and fixes five parameters at creation: collateral, loan asset, liquidation LTV, oracle and interest rate model. According to Morpho's docs, those parameters are immutable, and anyone can create a market using a governance-approved LLTV and rate model.

The top layer is the vault. A Morpho vault takes deposits of one asset and spreads them across many of those markets. A curator such as Gauntlet or Steakhouse decides which markets the vault may use and how much it may put into each. Vaults V2 split the job into Owner, Curator, Allocator and Sentinel roles, cap the performance fee at 50% and the management fee at 5% a year, and put most curator changes behind a timelock. Our Morpho vaults explainer covers those mechanics in detail.

Morpho Blue held about $10.9 billion across chains on 31 October 2026, per DefiLlama, with no deployment on Sui. Sui's lending money instead sits in pooled markets: Suilend (about $142.8 million) and NAVI Lending (about $141.2 million) are the two largest, as our Sui TVL breakdown shows. So a Sui user looking for "Morpho" has to pick which half they want: curated vaults, or isolated markets.

TVL is a size signal. It says nothing about whether a vault's strategy is sound, and Sui's vault numbers move quickly. Volo Vault, MEV Capital and Upshift each held more on Sui earlier in 2025 or 2026 than they do now.

Ember: the closest thing to Morpho vaults on Sui

Ember is the largest vault platform on Sui, with about $36.0 million on Sui and $96.6 million across Ethereum, Sui, Base, Pharos and Monad on 31 October 2026, per DefiLlama. DefiLlama files it under RWA because several vaults hold tokenized funds. Ember's public vaults API listed 27 Sui vaults that day, each with a named manager. Ember runs many of them itself, while others are managed by Bitwise (Premium+), Vishwa (a BTC vault), R25, Third Eye, Gamma and MEV Capital.

The deposit side looks like Morpho. You deposit USDC, SUI or BTC and receive a receipt token whose price rises as the strategy earns. The money side is different. On Sui, Ember's operator moves deposits out of the vault to a whitelisted sub-account, and the manager runs the strategy from there, sometimes on other chains or venues. The operator then posts a new share price on-chain. For the four vaults we read on 31 October 2026, the contract capped each update at 1%, with one update per 24 hours (12 hours for Bitwise Premium+). Withdrawals go through a queue that takes two to 14 days depending on the vault.

That makes Ember a good fit if you want a named manager running a strategy Morpho could not run, such as a tokenized credit fund or a basis trade. You trust the manager and Ember's operator more than you would trust a Morpho vault, where every allocation sits in on-chain markets you can inspect. Our Morpho vs Ember comparison goes through custody, fees and exits side by side, and what is Ember Protocol explains each vault type.

NAVI Prime and Suilend: the Morpho Blue half

If the part of Morpho you like is isolated markets, look at the big Sui lenders rather than vault platforms.

NAVI announced NAVI Prime on 18 August 2026. It adds isolated vaults next to NAVI's main pool, where each market sets its own parameters and a curator manages allocation, according to launch coverage. NAVI has said a Curator Guide will follow, so outside curators cannot yet set up their own markets the way they can on Morpho. DefiLlama counts NAVI Prime inside NAVI Lending, so it has no separate TVL figure.

Suilend runs separate isolated markets beside its main market. One example is the Ember market, where Ember's eEARN token is collateral and USDC is the borrowable asset. When we read that market's on-chain object on 31 October 2026, eEARN had an 85% open LTV and a 90% close LTV. Unlike Morpho, Suilend itself sets these markets up. Our Suilend vs Scallop guide and Aave alternatives on Sui cover the pooled lenders in more depth.

Haedal, Volo, Upshift and MEV Capital

Haedal Lending Vault

Haedal is best known for the haSUI liquid staking token. Its Lending Vault, listed on DefiLlama since 29 September 2026, takes deposits and deploys them into other Sui lending protocols, which is closer to a Morpho vault allocating across markets than anything else on this list. It held about $6.4 million on 31 October 2026. DefiLlama links a MoveBit audit report dated September 2026. The allocation logic belongs to Haedal; there is no third-party curator role.

Volo Vault

Volo started as the vSUI liquid staking issuer and is now part of NAVI. Its vaults route deposits into yield strategies, with a focus on BTC assets. DefiLlama's Risk Curators category shows about $0.5 million in Volo Vault on 31 October 2026. On 22 April 2026 Volo said about $3.5 million had been taken from three of its vaults (WBTC, XAUm and USDC), froze all vaults and said it was prepared to absorb the loss, as Yellow reported. Read Volo's own follow-up before depositing.

Upshift and MEV Capital

Both are well-known EVM curators with a small Sui presence. Upshift held about $430 million across chains on 31 October 2026 and about $0.4 million on Sui. Its SDK changelog says it reads Sui vaults from Ember's vault API, so on Sui it appears to work through Ember's infrastructure. MEV Capital shows about $0.06 million on Sui, and Ember's API lists it as the manager of Ember's BTC vault. MEV Capital also curates on Morpho, where its Ethereum USDC vault realized about 3.6% bad debt in November 2025 after the Elixir deUSD collapse, according to MEV Capital's update on the Morpho forum. That episode is a useful reminder that curator choices drive vault losses on any chain.

What you give up compared with Morpho

  • On-chain allocations. A Morpho vault's money sits in on-chain markets you can audit at any block. Ember sends funds to manager-controlled sub-accounts, so you rely on the operator's posted share price. Read what vault curators do for the questions to ask.
  • Timelocks you can see. Morpho Vaults V2 put fee, cap and adapter changes behind per-function timelocks. Sui vault products document their admin powers less uniformly, so look for who holds upgrade and pause keys.
  • Instant exits. Morpho vault withdrawals are usually instant when the markets have liquidity. Ember queues take days, and Haedal or Volo exits depend on the lenders underneath.
  • Depth. Morpho Blue alone holds more than all Sui lending and vault protocols combined. Thin Sui vaults can see one depositor's exit move the whole vault.

Some risks stay the same everywhere: smart-contract bugs, oracle errors, stablecoin depegs and liquidations in the markets a vault lends into. Our checklist on how to check a DeFi protocol is safe applies to every option above.

Which option fits which user

  • You want a named manager and are fine with multi-day exits: Ember. Pick the vault by manager and strategy, not by its target APY.
  • You want Morpho Blue-style isolated borrowing: Suilend's isolated markets today, NAVI Prime as its curator program opens.
  • You want lending yield spread across Sui lenders without choosing one: Haedal Lending Vault, keeping in mind it is about one month old.
  • You want a looped version of a curated vault: borrowing USDC against eEARN in Suilend's Ember market is the building block. The Ember Loop guide explains how looping changes the risk.

Where JewelSwap fits

JewelSwap is not a curator or a Morpho-style market. On Sui it runs auto-compounded leveraged farms built on Scallop, for pairs such as suiUSDT-USDC and BTC pairs. The farms borrow against your collateral at about 2.86x and are boosted by a shared veSCA position funded by SCA that JWLSCA stakers lock. The Scallop farm guide explains the mechanics. The closest overlap with this topic is Ember Loop, a JewelSwap beta that builds on Ember's eEARN rather than competing with it.

Frequently asked questions

Is Morpho available on Sui?

No. DefiLlama showed no Morpho deployment on Sui on 31 October 2026. Morpho Blue held about $10.9 billion on other chains, led by Ethereum and Base.

What is the closest Morpho vault equivalent on Sui?

Ember. It offers curated vaults with named managers and receipt tokens whose price rises with the strategy. The difference is custody: Ember moves deposits to manager-controlled sub-accounts, while Morpho vaults keep funds in on-chain markets.

Does Sui have Morpho Blue-style isolated markets?

Partly. Suilend runs isolated markets, such as its Ember market for eEARN, and NAVI launched NAVI Prime with curator-led isolated vaults on 18 August 2026. Neither lets anyone create a market permissionlessly the way Morpho does.

Which Sui curated vault is the biggest?

Ember, with about $36.0 million on Sui on 31 October 2026, per DefiLlama. Haedal Lending Vault was next among vault products at about $6.4 million.

Are Sui curated vaults riskier than Morpho vaults?

They carry different risks. Sui vaults are smaller and younger, and some run strategies off-chain, so you rely more on the manager. Morpho vaults have their own curator risk, as MEV Capital's November 2025 bad debt on its Ethereum USDC vault showed.

Educational only, not financial advice. TVL figures from DefiLlama and vault details from protocol docs, APIs and on-chain reads, all checked 31 October 2026. DeFi carries smart-contract, oracle, curator and market risk, including total loss.
