TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026: Dates, Speakers and Attendee Guide

TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026 runs on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 October 2026 at Marina Bay Sands, from 7:30am to 6:00pm both days. The organisers expect more than 25,000 attendees from 7,000+ companies, 300+ speakers and 500+ exhibitors, with over 1,000 side events across TOKEN2049 Week (5 to 11 October).

This guide covers the practical details (tickets, hours, travel, the Formula 1 clash), the confirmed speakers worth planning around, the themes likely to dominate, and how to approach the side-event calendar. We'll update it after the event with what was actually announced.

TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026: key facts

For context, the 2025 edition (1–2 October 2025) also reported 25,000 attendees from more than 160 countries, according to the organisers' press release. The organisers say more than 60% of attendees are C-level, which shapes the event: much of the real business happens in meetings, not on stage.

Tickets, hours and practical tips

Which pass do you need?

The Last Bird Pass (US$699 at the time of writing) covers all stages and sessions, the exhibition, the networking app, all-day hospitality and daily networking drinks. The Special Access Pass (US$4,999) adds priority access, the Speakers Reception, TOKEN2049 Institutional access, the speaker lounges, a curated side-event portal, concierge support and guaranteed after-party access. For most attendees the standard pass is enough. The premium pass makes sense if your week depends on meeting senior institutional people.

Things to know before you buy, from the FAQ:

  • Tickets are non-refundable, and that includes cases where a visa is refused. Check Singapore's entry requirements before paying.
  • Payment works by card or in crypto through MoonPay Commerce. Discounts can't be combined.
  • Tickets are delivered by email. Bring the same ID you registered with.
  • The official app (iOS and Android, registered attendees only) has attendee matchmaking and 1:1 meeting scheduling. Set up your profile before you fly. Good meeting slots go early.

Hotels and the Formula 1 weekend

The 2026 Singapore Grand Prix runs 9–11 October on the Marina Bay Street Circuit, straight after the conference, and is a sprint weekend this year. Expect high hotel prices, road closures around the circuit and crowded transport. TOKEN2049 lists hotel partners and a Singapore Airlines discount in its FAQ, and both are only available after you buy a conference ticket.

On the day

  • Arrive early on day one. Registration opens at the start of each day, and queues at Marina Bay Sands were long at past editions.
  • Map your stages. The agenda lists six: the OKX Main Stage, BingX Labs Stage, MEXC Stage, TON Stage, The Forum and the Bit Digital Stage. Moving between floors takes time.
  • Book meetings in rooms, not corridors. Private meeting rooms are available, and noise on the expo floor makes serious conversations hard.
  • Keep a security mindset. Large crypto events attract phishing: fake side-event registration pages, fake "airdrop" QR codes and impersonated team members on Telegram. Our crypto scams guide covers the common patterns. Don't sign wallet transactions on conference Wi-Fi from a QR code you were handed.

Confirmed speakers worth planning around

The speakers page lists 300+ names. A selection, grouped by what they're likely to talk about:

  • Traditional finance and markets: Adena Friedman (Chair and CEO, Nasdaq), Jenny Johnson (CEO, Franklin Templeton), Nikhil Sharma (BlackRock), Timothy Moe (Goldman Sachs), Amy Oldenburg (Morgan Stanley).
  • Exchanges: Richard Teng (Co-CEO, Binance), Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss (Gemini), Arjun Sethi (Kraken).
  • Protocols and founders: Jeff Yan (Hyperliquid Labs), Shayne Coplan (Polymarket), Stani Kulechov (Aave Labs), Joseph Lubin (Consensys / MetaMask), Charles Hoskinson (Input Output), Justin Sun (TRON).
  • Investors and commentators: Arthur Hayes (Maelstrom), Balaji Srinivasan (The Network State), Tom Lee (Fundstrat), Haseeb Qureshi (Dragonfly).
  • Stablecoin issuers: Eric Trump and Zach Witkoff (World Liberty Financial), Guy Young (Ethena Labs).
  • Formula 1: Max Verstappen (Oracle Red Bull Racing) and Lando Norris (McLaren).

Speaker line-ups at TOKEN2049 change until the last week. Check the agenda in the app the night before.

Themes to watch

Based on the published agenda, five themes stand out.

1. Stablecoins as payments and banking

Sessions include "From Charter to Checkout: Making Stablecoins Spendable" with Zach Witkoff (World Liberty Financial) and Bam Azizi (Mesh), and "Stablecoin Powered Neobanks" with Guy Young (Ethena Labs) and Mike Silagadze (ether.fi). The backdrop is US regulation: the GENIUS Act's rules are being written now, while the CLARITY market-structure bill failed a Senate procedural vote on 15 September 2026. Our GENIUS Act explainer and CLARITY Act explainer cover where both stand, and stablecoin payments in 2026 covers what Visa, Stripe and others are building. For the issuers named on stage, see what USD1 is and how USDe works.

2. Tokenization and Wall Street

With Nasdaq's CEO and senior people from BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley on the speaker list, tokenized funds and securities will be a recurring topic. Background reading: tokenized treasuries, tokenized stocks and tokenized deposits vs stablecoins.

3. Prediction markets

Polymarket's Shayne Coplan has a fireside chat moderated by Balaji Srinivasan. Prediction markets have been one of 2026's fastest-growing categories, and also one of the most contested in US courts.

4. Perps and on-chain trading

Hyperliquid's Jeff Yan is speaking, and Vladimir Novakovski (Lighter) is on "Onchain Options, Derivatives and the US Market". If perp DEXs are new to you, start with what a perp DEX is.

5. DeFi for institutions, and AI agents

"DeFi's Institutional Breakthrough" brings together Stani Kulechov (Aave Labs), Guy Young (Ethena Labs) and Kain Warwick (Infinex / Synthetix). On AI, sessions include Haseeb Qureshi (Dragonfly) on "When Crypto Meets Agents" and Alex Pack (Hack VC) on funding crypto and AI. Stablecoin chains built for machine payments, such as Stripe's Tempo and Circle's Arc, connect the two threads; see our stablecoin chains guide.

Side events and TOKEN2049 Week

The FAQ says more than 1,000 side events run across TOKEN2049 Week, many of them free, and the official directory is at week.token2049.com. Official programme items around the main conference include:

  • TOKEN2049 Origins Hackathon, a 36-hour event from 6 to 8 October.
  • NEXUS, the startup competition, and the Startup Village.
  • TOKEN2049 Institutional, a private gathering for MD level and above.
  • After2049, the closing party on 9 October at the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark.

How to handle the side-event calendar:

  • Register early. Popular events fill or close registration days before.
  • Pick by audience, not brand. A 60-person builder dinner in your niche usually beats a 2,000-person party.
  • Verify every link. Only register through the official directory or the host's verified social accounts. Fake Luma pages are a known phishing route.
  • Leave travel time. Events spread across the city, and the Grand Prix weekend starts on 9 October.

Where JewelSwap fits

JewelSwap builds DeFi on MultiversX, Sui and Radix: liquid staking (JWLSUI, JWLEGLD, JWLXRD), yield farming on Sui and MultiversX DEXs, and NFT-backed lending. If you're at TOKEN2049 for Sui or MultiversX side events, our Sui DeFi guide and MultiversX DeFi guide are a quick primer on both ecosystems.

What we'll add after the event

We'll update this page after 8 October with the main announcements, any regulatory or product news from the stages, and which of the themes above actually dominated. Figures and speaker names here are from the official site as of 2 October 2026 and may change.
